What's TRE? (Tension & Trauma Release Exercises) is a somatic stress regulation technique that releases deeply held patterns of tension & accumulated stress by literally shaking it off. Gentle stretches invite the body to naturally discharge stress, help the body relax and restore nervous system wellbeing, while building resilience. When the body overheats it sweats, when the body is overwhelmed, it shakes. TRE activates the body’s natural recovery & restoration system, lessening and resolving Body Tension, Chronic Stress, C/PTSD and Trauma symptoms.
